6 Shootings, 3 Streets, 1 Night, 1 Dead: New Haven Neighborhood Has Violent Sunday

New Haven police responded to a ShotSpotter report that gunfire had been detected as well as 911 calls about the incident.

Four people were taken by ambulance to a hospital, another two were transported privately, police said.

One person has died, police said, and, as of Sunday, the other five were in stable condition.

The crime scene contains portions of Rosette, Hurlbut, and Wilson streets.
